Job description

Johnson Hydraulic Sales is a fast-growing family-owned company located in Williamsport, MD. We have an opening for a full-time Shop technician to work in our hydraulic shop. This position is for candidates who have previous work history in repair hydraulic components in a repair shop. 

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and motors
  • Assist in the repair of: Hydraulic Cylinders, pumps, valves, motors as requested by the shop manager
  • Ensure the shop is a clean working area
  • Assist team lead in job costing and planning 
  • Assist customers as need
  • Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies. 

Qualifications:

· 2-3 years mechanical experience 

· Experience in using air tools as well as hand tools is a plus.

· Ability to work with a team and your own

· Must be dependable and punctual

We are willing to train the candidate. Hard work, focus and attention to detail are important qualities for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Position Starts at $17 per hour for Training. After Completion of Training (Hydraulic Tech 2) $19 hour.
